In 2014 I took to facebook to explain why midday Wednesday can't be three days earlier than midday Friday (It would imply midday Friday is one day earlier than midday Friday - which is an absurdty!). Also, I explained why the answer to the extra question must be 4 extra.

After several months, despite my efforts, I wasn't getting anywhere with Person A and other people (my gp seemed to be the only person who understood that it is an absurdity for midday Friday to be one day earlier than midday Friday). So I decided I would take it onto this physics/maths forum so the group could hear it off other people that it is absurd for Wednesday to be 3 days earlier than Friday, and that the answer is 4 extra.

They ridiculed Person A's way of working out days early, they called it "....absurd!". 

They said "....it's got to be 4."
